[ It's a new week, with some new rooms to vandalize and explore, but Vira takes some time to return to their room and refresh all the same. she's sitting with a book that she's managed to scrounge up, luminiera floating peaceably behind her.

she seems focused, but when harrow drops in, she greets her with a mellow smile. ]

Welcome back. Taking a break from all the madness?

[She looks tired when she comes into the room, leaning against the door frame for just a moment, but she nods at Vira.]

Yes. I'm not used to spending so much time around this many people. It's a little exhausting.

w0 - friday

Harrowhark, it's Vira. I apologize for the strange question, but would you consider yourself an expert on bones?

[ she can touch on tamaki later. ]

[At some point after trial, she'll come back to the room to have a meal and sit in thought. So maybe she and Vira can run into one another once again.]

[ vira's back with a smoothie or something, and none of her usual, bland pleasantries. she's not exactly surprised to see harrow. ]

w1 - friday

[ Once they wake up and hear another announcement, Vira... just goes back to their room. Staying in the medbay is uncomfortable with her wounds, and while ordinarily she'd go do some investigating, she's tired—and also, why would she? There's not much point.

Also, it's Grell.

Anyway, she's here and just draped on some piece of furniture so she doesn't have to be upright. ]

Harrowhark—are you planning on looking around? [ Just curious. Also, she'd advise her against it. ]

Not particularly.

[I mean, she probably tried a little, on her way back from the medbay, but. . . ]

Investigating on Friday last was generally pointless. I'll save my energy for tomorrow.

week 2; monday

[bonetiddies]

[Let's say they're in the bedroom. Harrow is looking at an envelope she's receiving, squinting like she has a headache.]

[ harrow don't give yourself another surprise aneurism

vira is a little cautious today, but she doesn't bother with it in their room. she looks over curiously. ]

Anything interesting?

week 2; post-execution

[bonetiddies]

[At some point in Sunday, Harrow is just in their room, probably in a sulky bad mood.]

[ Yeah, Vira's been in a bad mood since Friday, but today has been especially annoying. She's probably brought some toast or something, because most of her diet has been plain carbs for a while. ]

You were right about Fukuda making himself an open threat. [ her tone is openly judgmental, whatever ]

week 3; tuesday

[Harrow is sitting in the breakfast nook of their room, reading a book that looks long and complicated, though she's sort of glaring at it more than reading.]

[ They've probably collected a pretty decent pile of books in this room, thank you, library. Though whatever book Vira was reading must not be very interesting, because she starts nodding off.

But she manages to put it down and yawn. Looks like Harrow's more engaged(?) though? ]

...Not to your tastes, Harrowhark?

w3 - sunday

[ sorry no location choice today because vira is definitely laying around the room, staring at the ceiling, luminiera hovering beside her and fussing.

she'll greet harrow, though. ]

I should be happy if we never have to sit through another of these executions again.

[ not that she believes it'll happen. ]

[Vira. . . Harrow will go into the kitchen and fumble around in there. She hated watching that, and she isn't nearly so close to Yuel.]

Can I make you anything? Tea?

[ Vira gets back to the room pretty late, tired but restless, Luminiera following close behind her. She'll just go sit by Harrow in the loft, wordless for a moment before speaking softly. ]

How are you feeling?

[She's just lying, probably still awake. Frumpkin the cat is also here.]

A headache, nothing worse. What awful timing all of that was.

w5; wednesday

[Let's say Wednesday evening, they are having a late night lounge at the depression pool? Harrow's dressed in her swimming adjacent undershirt and shorts again, and just has her feet dipped in the pool while she lounges. Let's revel in some despair vibes with the girls.]

It's only an illusion, but if you fully submerge, it's a decent simulation of the River of the Dead. But. . . actually submerging in the River while alive tends to make the shades attack you. This is much nicer.

[ She's going to let her legs swing in the water, but doesn't quite leap in at Harrow's description. That sounds bad? But it's fine. That's kind of the point. ]

We don't have any such river, but I assume it means you'll see some sort of ghosts? This place does like its illusions.

w5; sunday mid execution

You're right about the knife. But Childe didn't kill Mahito. I'll explain.

w6 - tuesday probs

[ actually, harrow may notice this, but now that everyone is aware of the weekly effect, vira is avoiding her. this is difficult, considering they're roommates, but she manages.

it's hard not to run into people here, though. at the beach, she's dressed pretty casually, just sitting and enjoying the sea breeze. she's so absorbed in her own thoughts that she won't notice if harrow is around or not, honestly. ]

[She probably does notice this fairly quickly, but - Harrow kind of feels that it's valid, to avoid her if she wants to? She isn't going to push her, if she doesn't want to emotion share.

But they also can run into each other at the beach, and Harrow is clearly just. Concerned, and a little worried in the sense of wondering if Vira is angry with her over any number of things that have happened. She's looking for a place to sit and read, but stops.]

We ran out of texts on that thread, but I thought I'd add that all of that happened a good while ago. Though I suppose it doesn't matter - we're in the indulgence center, after all! We ought to be having fun, not taking things so seriously. It doesn't bother you, right?

I know you're avoiding me, but you look awfully good holding that sword. 😘

[ it takes her a second to respond. not because she is getting attacked by a sphinx, but because she is dying. she literally does not know what to say to this. ]

[Well, it's probably hard not to run into each other when they share a room and all. Who knows if they've even noticed yet but anyway, Harrow will just casually put a hand on hers and oops. It's stuck.]

. . . Oh. It's Wednesday.

[ They hold hands enough that this is totally feasible, wow. She just gives their now-conjoined hands a tired look, trying gently to pull away... obviously to no avail. ]

You've spread your Wednesday misfortune to me as well. [ She doesn't sound mad about it, but yeah. ]

w7 - saturday

[ Some hours after the events of the day, Vira drags herself back to their room, trailed by Luminiera and the smell of baked goods. It's been a very long day, but she suspects it's been even longer for Harrow. They didn't really have time to talk about it before, but she's here now. ]

There hardly seems like there's enough time before tomorrow, does it?

[ She thinks they've done enough. ]

No. Or too long. I don't know.

[She's exhausted, tired of being sad and weepy, just lying down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.]

I don't want to say goodbye, but I just need to know that it's. . . that it will all be all right.
