First we should find you a book, though. I'll not have you come all this way for nothing.

[ oh, well. she just sort of smiles stupidly for a second and then remembers what she just suggested. books! ]

Well, I've compiled a few about the technology in the other rooms. [ she gestures to one small stack. then, another— ] These are related to space. But there's plenty more out there, of course.

[ She taps her chin. ] One of the... technology ones should suffice. Loath as I am to admit it, there's much I don't understand.

[ She picks out a thin book, well-worn. ]

Hm... this one, perhaps? I found it simple without being condescending, and there are a few sheets of my notes as well. It should be enough that you can work some of the machines here, at least.

[ Even finding books that cover the appropriate period of technological history was A Task, but it should help. ]
