[ Considering how many people are at the base, and how much of it is made of common areas, the occasion retreat to their private room is a needed blessing. It seems Vira isn't the only one to think so, because when she comes back with some fresh laundry, Primrose is already there.
She quickly summons up a smile to greet her. ]
Hello, Primrose. I hope I'm not interrupting your rest.
[ Primrose responds with an equally amiable smile from where she sits, sheathed dagger in her lap. She was apparently just finishing with polishing it. ]
You needn't worry, your company disrupts nothing. Even with two of us, it's still a rather calming quiet.
[ She sets down her bundled clothes to get to folding them, so they get to enjoy a mostly domestic moment of peace. (Primrose is armed?) Domestic peace. ]
Though I hope that knife of yours isn't cursed as well. [ kidding, hopefully. ]
[ yeah. that sure was a thing. vira looks dour as they go to find the bar, her brows furrowed briefly before they smooth over into something more wearied. ]
Something smooth, I suppose.
[ usually she's more of a wine person, but it doesn't suit the occasion. she considers asking after primrose's tastes as well, though what comes out instead is: ]
... As well as can be expected. [ She's not as shaken and upset as some of them had been, but it hadn't sat well with her and it shows in the way she tries not to let it show at all. ]
[ after the events of the day, vira decides that maybe living in their room forever is not such a bad idea, actually? but the base isn't so big that they can all avoid each other forever, especially not their roommates.
and besides, she can't help but greet prim as she returns. the polite nod quickly turns into something else, though. (from 2:08 to 6:45 i'm sorry it's long cries in visual novel style games)
at least a relatively innocent one, though a little embarrassing—vira shrugs sheepishly. ]
Primrose—it's Vira. Are you all right? [ not just because of her injuries, but all those deaths... she's not sure how people are doing after three of them. ]
[ she wanders back to their room eventually, looking a little haggard as she does, luminiera tagging by her closely. she gives her an absent pat on the head before she sees primrose. ]
Primrose... [ it takes her a moment to know what to say ] I hope I didn't alarm you during trial.
[ vira blinks over instinctively, and there's nothing to really be done about what comes next. once her mild surprise passes, her emotions are... conflicted. more than her expression allows. she is happy to see primrose, perhaps, but then that joy is very carefully bottled away and replaced with politeness. ]
[ Primrose blinks, a little surprised but not too shocked by the emotions that greet her. Vira has always struck her as someone who remains respectful and polite at all times, regardless of how she actually feels.
In response, her own fondness is muted with a sense of caution, even though she's aware Vira likely knows as much. ]

Not at all. It's merely a keepsake with no magical abilities. I'm afraid in comparison to the both of you and your companions, I'm rather unexciting.

Week 0, Sunday
And Primrose is most certainly tired, turning to Vira as they exit the room and she tries not to remember the sound of Beau's agonized screaming. ]
Spirit of choice?

I feel as though your heart was a bit swayed, somehow.

...That is one way to put it. I fear that it's starting to drift.

I can't deny that I've spent much of my life in studies like this. It reminds me of my old offices.
[ though this book is kind of putting her to sleep, thanks sloth week. so the company is a nice pick-me-up. ]
What of you, Primrose? Looking for a book for research, or pleasure?

[ She pauses though, looking Vira over a tad curiously. ]
Perhaps not what you've been reading, however. You look rather drowsy.

I don't draw any great joy from voting 'correctly.' But it was better than picking someone innocent and having to deal with the consequences.
