Yes. The avatars may have encouraged us to find these answers, but I do not think they will come easily.

They encourage, and then they wriggle around the answers. Which makes me think they have a lot of gaps in their knowledge as well, hence the talking around the topics they do.

[ to the gardens it is. yuri is just sat on one of the benches in the garden, eyes closed, apparently just enjoying the air quality and the floral scent in here.

For the moment I’m assuming three people have this power — unless a lot of other people also chose to keep quiet as well, which is possible. I’m not sure if some people lied about their powers.

[ he nods ] Harrow was very pointed about not wanting to do more than confirm abilities to one other person, which I think is fair. Someone to confirm it, if we can’t.

Yes, there is always the possibility that someone with our boon is pretending to have a different one. In which case we may wish to keep an eye on those abilities that were granted in groups of four...

Still, it seems most likely that is the three of us. And I agree that having one person who can vouch for us is a good plan, should any of us die.

Gu Yun isn't lying about his. Because he told me before the trial. And I don't think we have any reason to assume the people who started the discussions about their powers are lying either. Everyone else is fair game though.

Yeah. It might not make things any clearer for anyone, but at least they'll know to look at ... how much of an effect the powers have had, and see if it looks like an original or a copy. However they have to do that.

[ it's been a strange day. vira is in the simulation room, sitting in a large, plush office with the waning afternoon light filtering through the windows. the walls are filled with cabinets of books, official papers stacked neatly on the desk.

it's impressive for a study, but not exactly a big deal. which is why she can greet yuri with a nod. ]

If you'd like the room, I can find another place to mull over my thoughts.

More than likely. Most things are, aren't they? We have the abilities we know about, but also the abilities people seem to be able to get by asking, which there's no way to track. Not unless we plan on being honest about it.
